Conventional security products rely on keys, cards, codes and buttons to grant access. All are effective to varying degrees, none are secure from loss, theft or forgery. Fingerprints are formed by the pattern of elevated sweat glands on the hands. These create ridges and grooves that channel the sweat away from the centre. We are each born with fingerprints which will remain the same throughout our lives. The consistency in pattern identification is superior to the iris, voice and face identification.
Previous biometric fingerprint devices received limited success. The main problems being recognition and limited storage capacity. The BFD200 has resolved these issues.
The BFD200 is designed to comply with global fire and Safety regulations and can always be opened from the inside providing a quick exit in case of an emergency and the lever reduces the chances of items such as fire hoses or clothing getting caught.

With an easy to operate keypad, user registration, deletion and mode programming are done through the keypad. All operations can be completed in about 10 seconds. The operation of the unit can be adjusted to the specific needs of the user.
The BFD200 has a theft proof emergency warning siren. Should an individual attempt to physically tamper with the unit a built in siren will warn the user and anyone nearby of the attempted breach.
The BFD200 has a high memory capacity with high sped and high efficiency that enables it to input up to 100 different fingerprints.
